Summer Olympics 2024 has finished.

USA is number 1!  China had a super strong showing and is a solid number 2!  I’m sure Russia being suspended form the Olympics helped everyone’s standings – they are usually a top 3 contender.  Here is my table based upon my formula of gold worth 5 points, silver worth 2 points, and bronze worth 1 point:

1 USA 330 points (126 medals! 40 of them gold)

2 China 278 (40 gold medals - swept the diving golds!)

3 France 154 (host nation with 16 gold, 26 silver, and 22 bronze medals!)

5 Great Britain 143 (3rd most medals with 65 total medals!)

6 Japan 137 (3rd most gold with 20 golds!)
